Apple Certified Technician
Small Dog Electronics is seeking a friendly, dynamic Apple Certified Technician to join our staff full time at our Flynn Ave, Burlington, Vermont location. This is a Monday - Friday position with benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic to advanced troubleshooting and repair of desktop and laptop Apple computers; including repairs of mother board, displays, power and basic parts, software installation
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues quickly and accurately
- Managing workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Email correspondence and follow-up with customers
- Providing the best customer service experience to strengthen customer loyalty, we aim to be "always by your side"
SALARY/WAGE AND BENEFITS
Based on experience, plus commissions.

Relevant field preferred with 2 years technical experience working with computer hardware/software repair. Must possess good critical thinking skills essential for troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Good working, hands-on, knowledge of basic laptop/desktop repair, software installation and general IT concepts.

Retail Customer Service
Small Dog Electronics is seeking a friendly, dynamic Apple enthusiast (iPhone, iPad, or Mac lover) to join our retail staff full time at our Flynn Ave location. This is a Monday - Friday position with benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Managing workflow in a fast-paced retail environment, which also includes a full-service call center
-Ability to multitask, retail can be fast-paced and we offer a variety of specialized services
-Email correspondence and follow-up with customers
-Providing the best customer service experience before, during and after the sale to strengthen customer loyalty, we aim to be "always by your side"

Strong customer service skills, ability to work with users with a variety of technical knowledge, follow through on customer requests and ability to multitask is a must. Passion for technology and customer service. We take customer service very seriously and believe customers should all have the same consistent experience no matter what staff member is helping them. Jr. Tech / Service
Small Dog Electronics is looking for the right person to join our support team in the service department at our Flynn Ave location. This is a critical role which helps to support both our retail and service departments in Burlington.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the check in and pick up process of devices for our repair department.
- Helping to communicate with customers about the repair process as well as potentially providing in store lessons/consults.
- General and basic device repairs and working at our software restore counter are additional duties in between the service counter needs.
For the right individual the ability to move into the technician role after showing proficiency at our service counter is an option.
This position works directly with members of the service department.

Basic Requirements:
1-2 years previous experience customer service experience.
The right candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit - as well as good critical thinking skills essential for basic troubleshooting hardware and software issues, strong communication and customer service skills, a team-oriented work ethic, and obsession with the details. Good working, hands-on, knowledge of general IT concepts, basic laptop/desktop repair, software troubleshooting a plus.
Requires excellent time management, multitasking, deductive reasoning, strong verbal and written communication skills. Works directly with customers to ensures an excellent customer experience, resolves complaints, and leads by example to provide optimum customer service.
